Rome and Texas have one thing in common for sure....MOSQUITOS!!!! Unfortunately we left the terrace door to our hotel room cracked when we went out for dinner and when we returned, we found the room full of mosquitos. I went on a mosquito killing rampage but still got bit on the face twice while sleeping. Rome is a coastal city, so with the coast comes mosquitos no matter where you live I guess. Here is something interesting too....in some public bathrooms you have to pay to go potty, so I took a pic of the sign on the door for a free one. When the door to the stall opens, it looks like a nightclub because there is a blue lights in it. I thought it was for sanitation, but Sheila's cousin Tom said it was so that drug addicts can't find a vein to shoot up! WOWZERS!!!
